Dress Return Days

When borrowing a dress from The Prom Closet, we ask that it is returned within 2 weeks of your prom during one of our dress return days, see the schedule below. If you have any questions about this process that is not answered below, please email us!

Drop Off Dates:

Unfortunately, we have already held 10+ return dates and do not have any more scheduled.
PLEASE reach out to us via social media messages or email if you still have your dress to return so we can arrange something with one of our volunteers!!
We still have a little over 80 dresses that need to be returned.

These locations have been generous in letting us use them as a drop off location:

Whitinsville Social Library: Please check their hours of operation
Red Door Realty in Sturbridge: Please check their hours of operation

Rips/stains - We know things happen, especially with dresses that have attended many proms. If a rip/tear/break or stain happens on your dress that you cannot repair or clean yourself, please notify us when returning your dress so we can get the dress to repairs or cleaning before next prom season. You do NOT need to get the dress dry cleaned before returning it, but if you are able to do so, we would be so appreciative, but again NOT necessary.

Lost/misplaced - Although we hope this doesn’t happen, it’s possible. We ask if this happens, to please let us know and if possible we ask for a replacement, a prom dress that you pick up from a thrift store/on discount that you can give to us in place of the one we lent you.

THANK YOU for returning your dress so that it can continue to make prom dreams come true!
